High Intensity Weight Training
High Intensity Weight Training High intensity weight training requires that the bodybuilder do weight training in reps. Strength Endurance is achieved by repeating exercises for the highest possible number of repetitions in total. The H.I.T. form of training is very time efficient as it has reduced the number of reps. The concept of this training is to train your muscles as hard as possible within a short period of time. The rest periods between the sets are minimal and you are taking every set to failure and past. The basic idea behind this system is to stimulate your muscles using sufficient weights than allow enough time for growth. To build muscle, reps have been the best option and should be done to the maximum capacity or in fact even more than your capacity to boost muscle growth in high intensity weight training. High intensity weight training must arrive at how many reps are required to be performed. With advanced H.I.T. equipment available for exercising, you can finish off your exercise in 15 reps. But that does not mean you can achieve optimum results with any amount of weight. The weight for the reps must be the maximum, which is the utmost you can do in 15 reps. If your ability has crossed the 15 reps with that weight and you can push yourself into doing more than 15 reps, then go for it. If you are not able to do the weight chosen by you for not more than eight times, then lower your weight as your muscles do not have the capability to support such a weight for 15 reps. Take a short rest and try with lower weights for perfect high intensity weight training. High intensity weight training can benefit from the H.I.T. Compound machines which can give you the benefits of two exercises from a single exercise and also the benefit of two reps from just one. You are always the best judge of to decide what works the best for you. Some get all the desired results from just a single exercise on the compound machine. Experienced trainers will definitely go for a double on the Compound machine to effectively build muscle through the high intensity weight training. High intensity weight training to burn fat is not much helpful if you think that by performing a few extra repetitions on a weight training exercise is significant enough to burn extra fat. To burn fat short duration exercises do not work and has to be achieved through long duration endurance exercises. High intensity training should be done by individuals with a good lifting background and who are experienced. These should be used sparingly to shock the muscles or to help you get over a plateau while exercising. Allow for adequate warm-up and rest and go to positive failure on each set during the high intensity weight training. |
