Supersets, Super sets, maximum muscle gains

Supersets

Supersets-a good way to boost muscle mass gains

A supersets is defined as follows: A supersets is when you perform one exercise right after the othe, with little or no rest in between two exercises! Rest periods are resitrited to after the super set-that isuntil the second set is completed.

Supersets are usually perfromed with opposing muscle groups, such as the biceps and triceps, or chest and back. For example, you might do a bench press followed by a rowing exercise, or do a tricep pressdonw followed by a standing bicep curl-thenthen a rest of one to two minutes, followed by the more super sets.

Super sets should be done with caution-as they are a high intensity wokrout program! Supersets will tend to reduce workout time, or allow you to pack more exercises into a given training session. However, you must be in good shape and work into them slowly to avoid injury and to make the maximum muscle gains with a superset
