The first muscle building tip is Sleep...how much do you need for an effective workout program...how much do you need to build muscle mass?

The actual muscle growth process does not occur when you lift weights, it occurs at rest! And especially so at sleep! It is absolutely essential that you get at least 8 hours of sleep a day! And if you are a teenager you need even more hours than that…This is a muscle building tip you need to take to heart!

Have you ever noticed that the most muscular animals in the world all sleep 12-14 hours a day and take naps like it was going out of style!

Take the lion, it sleeps whenever it can …and it is as big as a house, look at the grizzly bear, look at cats in general...they all sleep and they are the most powerful animals in the world…and thaat should be a muscle building tips you should take from these animals!

Although it seems that the elderly sleep less, it is untrue; rather they have very restless sleeps and hence tend to wake up with every chance

• A cooler temperature will ensure deep and restful sleep

• Don’t consume alcohol or caffeine as it will hamper sleep
