Also it does not drop you exactly where you want to go and may require you to catch another bus or take to some other means of transport. Sometimes even though you may have access to the gym and transport, you may have other impediments like a long weight or not enough facilities in the gym for proper weight gain workouts.

Weight gain workouts have to find some alternative means of keeping you in shape. You can explore on alternative exercises like sit ups, pushups, dips between chairs, and no-weight squats which are very good in boosting your muscle growth. You can have your own home made equipments to build your muscles. Some great bodybuilders started off with homemade equipments made out of scraps etc. You can also design your workout depending on your trade. If you are in the mechanics trade then you can ignore the isometric exercises and concentrate on the others. An occasional rest day is good for your health. But bodybuilders fear the worst in taking a day off fearing that they may lose their muscle size and strength.
