1/3 cup powdered milk

1/4 to Y1/ teaspoon freshly ground black peppercorns

3 teaspoons salt

1/2 cup nonfat milk

pinch each of thyme and basil

Mix thoroughly, preferably with fingertips; mold into a loaf in a shallow baking dish or pack into an oiled loaf pan; sprinkle generously with paprika; bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes, or until temperature in center is 185 degrees F.
